CRPDとは?
英語で Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) と呼ばれる「障害者の権利に関する条約」は、障害者の権利と尊厳を守るための国際人権条約である。

2025-03-21現在、CRPDの締約国は192カ国である。
締約国による条約の履行は、独立した専門家で構成される障害者権利委員会によって監視されている。
選択議定書
英語で Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD-OP) と呼ばれる「障害者の権利に関する条約の選択議定書」は、締約国による条約違反の被害者であると主張する者が、障害者権利委員会に直接苦情を申し立てることを可能にする 個人通報メカニズム を確立する条約のサイドアグリーメントである。
2025-03-21現在、選択議定書の締約国は107カ国である。
日本は未署名。
